Biography

Peggy Smyth has served as a member of our board of directors since May 2021. She has also served on the board of directors of Etsy, Inc., an e-commerce website, since June 2016 and on the board of directors of Frontier Communications, a telecommunications company, since June 2021, and currently serves on other privately held company boards as well. Peggy has served as the U.S. Chief Financial Officer of National Grid plc, a multinational energy company between October 2014 and June 2021. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Finance at ConEdison, Inc., an energy company, from August 2012 through September 2014. Earlier in her career, Peggy served as a Senior Managing Partner at Deloitte & Touche and Arthur Andersen. She also served on the board of directors of Vonage Holdings Corp., a cloud based communications provider from September 2012 to June 2016. Peggy holds an M.S. in Accounting from NYU Stern School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from Fordham University. Peggy is also experienced in advancing sustainability accounting practices and is a Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (“SASB”) FSA Credential Holder.
