Biography

Ankur Sinha has served as the Chief Product and Technology Officer of Remitly since November 2024 and previously served as our Chief Technology Officer from February 2022 to November 2024. Prior to Remitly, Ankur served as an Engineering Director at Google from May 2019 to February 2022, overseeing commerce technologies in Google Cloud. Before Google, Ankur held various positions at Microsoft Corporation from January 2007 to April 2019, including most recently Senior Director for multiple Microsoft services & experiences. From June 2001 to December 2006, Ankur served as Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of India startup, RA Systems. Ankur holds a B.S. in Information Technology from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University.
